Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every 2 weeks, until your treatment is complete. Your dentist closely monitors treatment progress and sees you every 6 weeks for a check. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. Most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
One of the best things about Invisalign is the minimal impact it has on your everyday life. Since the aligners are so comfortable, you should be able to wear them for the recommended 22 hours a day without much effort. The aligners are worn constantly with the exceptions of eating, drinking (excluding water), brushing and flossing.
With Invisalign, the aligner trays are not only smooth and comfortable to wear, but they're also removable. That means you can continue doing all the things you normally would, from brushing and flossing to eating whatever you like while the aligners are not in your mouth. With other devices, brushing and flossing properly can often take up to 30 minutes!
After you have your consultation with Dr. Brobst, she will create a treatment plan with time frames, costs, etc. Then, we will send a copy of the treatment plan to your insurance company to see if this is something that would be covered.
We do offer a payment plan for orthodontics. Whether your insurance covers Invisalign or not, we will sit down and go over a payment plan that best suits your needs. You will be asked to leave a current credit card on our confidential file, and we will take out a payment each month for the proposed duration of your treatment. Our office manager will sit and discuss your treatment plan with you prior to you committing to your treatment.
